Dual rear sprockets has long been a favorite of the TW community. This kit allows you to get everything you need in one simple kit. The TW chain adjustment only allows for a maximum of 5 teeth difference between the sprockets while keeping a common chain. Kit includes two rear sprockets machined to a minimum thickness at the mounting flange, spacers and hardware, and an optional 136 link O-ring chain. Also comes with our emergency trail wrench to make the change quick and easy. Does not work with Bradley ATV rear tire conversion hub.
TW Dual Rear Sprocket Kit
Although it is possible to install this on the bike, it is much easier with the rear wheel removed. Start with the smaller sprocket and insert the supplied 8mm bolts in from the machined side. Make sure you are using the 8mm holes on the sprockets. Slide the supplied spacers onto the protruding bolts. Use only the spacer if you are running a non O-ring chain. Use the spacers and the supplied washers if you are using an O-ring chain. Slide the bigger sprocket onto the bolts with the machined side of the sprocket facing opposite of the assembly towards the wheel, then slide the assembly onto the wheel flange. Use the supplied nuts to tighten the assembly to the wheel. We recommend using lock tight on the bolt threads and torque to factory specs. Use the supplied axle spacers on the left outside of the wheel assembly between the swingarm and the left side bearing spacer. This keeps the sprockets away from the chain guard nut.
