  • Hubs will be boxed separately and will need to be properly greased and installed.  If you are unsure how to do this, you will need to study up on greasing and adjusting trailer axle bearings.  There are plenty of instructional videos on You tube.  You generally want to tighten the axle nuts until bearing contact and back off 1/4 of a turn.  Tires will be mounted on rims but will need to be bolted to the hubs.  Torque lug nuts to 90 ft/lbs.  Install the short 3/4" bolt with lock washer from the backside of the hole in the front of the trailer and install the long 3/4" hex nut from the front to secure the assembly.  Thread the 3/4" swivel Heim joint into the long nut and screw it in completely until it bottoms out, then back out 1 turn.  Install the hitch pin into the tow hitch and secure with the 1" hex nut.  Tighten to a minimum of 65 ft/lbs.   Pulling a trailer with a motorcycle takes some getting used to.  Be very careful and take it very slow at first until you understand the effects the load will have on the bike.  Always load with %10-%15  of the total weight on the tongue for best handling.  For Off-road usage we recommend to air the tire pressure down to 3-5 psi for the best suspension action out the tires.  More air will be needed for road usage (which we cannot condone).
